Vision...

The continual goal of The Avenue Church is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by reaching Ellis County (and beyond) with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and helping Christians grow in their knowledge of Who Jesus is. A primary way to accomplish this is to connect people with God through worship, discipleship, and evangelism, and to connect with other families for fellowship and ministry.

God has allowed us to purchase 76 acres of land along Hwy. 77, in the middle of the most rapid growth in Waxahachie. Plans are underway to create a new church campus that will glorify God by its beauty, provide our community an inviting, safe enviornment for their families, and be a center for help and salvation that people in our community can turn to when they are in need.

Affiliations...

Though our vision and ministries span across cultural and denominational lines, there is biblical value in working together with other believers. Therefore, The Avenue Church  is currently a member of the Willow Creek Association (WCA), and associated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT), and is a also member of the Ellis Baptist Association (EBA).
